Homeschooling Movies

Out of my love of list-making, I've created several movie lists. Mostly they were made with an eye towards saving me time in the future, when I have kids.

This first list is 'pop culture'. Basically it contains every movie I think our children should watch before they move out of the home.  That's a lot of movies! And it keeps growing every year.
Huge List of Movies Every Child Should See

Then I have several lists to supplement a study of History and Literature. We'll be reading soooo many books and I think it'll be nice to occasionally choose a movie instead and by making these lists now, long before I'll need to actually hunt down a film for a particular time period, I think I'll be saving myself a lot of hassle down the road. And even if I'm not, the lists were still fun to make!
Here are the lists:
Ancient World

Medieval through Elizabethan Era Movies

Colonial and Revolutionary Movies

19th Century History

One of these days I'll get around to making a list for the modern era. Or, more likely two lists, since the 20th and 21st centuries are rather jam-packed with historical films.
