Hello World!
(As a bit of a computer geek, I have to admit having the opportunity to say that phrase is rather amusing to me).First of all, I should mention that I do not expect anyone to actually ever read this. There are far too many people with far too much to say (and far fewer people who want to read it all) for there to be much left over for my un-original thoughts to be heard. But I thought it'd be fun to try this out anyway. After all, I enjoy journaling and making lists, so why not?
However, just in case I'm wrong and someone does stop by and want to know a bit about me, here it goes.
I'm female, in my 30s, married, with two cats.
Isn't that just so exciting to know? I could probably expand this to an epic bio that would enthrall the masses for hours, but I'll spare you the detailed examination of my cleaning and hygiene habits.
However, I will say that I am starting this blog with the idea that I'll mostly organize my Bible Study and homeschooling ideas. I am quite passionate about educating new believers (or even not-so-new believers) in the Word of God. And I enjoy thinking through the logic behind doctrines and discovering the nuances behind the English words (sadly, I'm a typical American and don't know any other language beyond English, so my Greek and Hebrew knowledge is rather lacking). But I'll write more about the specifics of my faith and about the Bible study ideas in the next post.
In the meantime, a little bit more info about me is probably wise, since I expect this blog to reflect my general interests. I don't yet have children, but we intend to eventually have two. I'd also love to become a homeschool mom, so, in the middle of posts on the Bible, I'll probably write about that too. Along with a few other random things, I expect. Since I don't think anyone besides me will read this, it's not like anyone will care if I don't stay on topic after all, right?
I cross-stitch. I enjoy reading, writing (but not too much arithmetic), and games. Board games, card games, video games - it doesn't matter. I just enjoy games!
I don't think there's anything else of a general nature that anyone would care to know (I lead a pretty boring life).
